My first artistic period was characterized by a study of the different techniques in painting: oil, acrylic, water colors and prints. In these works one can see the influence of the works of art that were exhibited in the Italian galleries towards the end of the 1960s as well as those I saw in museums. On the other hand my work from the 1970s were influenced by the masters of Ein Hod, the artists’ village set up by Marcel Janco where I studied: colors are sometimes simple and spontaneous and sometimes revealing. Often there are different kinds of colors that have left their mark, one under the other, under many different layers.
